Hi, if one is interested in, here is my new map - trial.

it looks a bit like the first one, but now: the route has changed

it was a lot of work, but now i am able to create an path along an
ndimensional function (3 here) with greater becoming steps. This
differs from the first one where this behaviour took automatically effect
with an greater radius.

Here is the next prerelease.

I did some experiments with light - it is not perfect yet, but it was the easiest job.

The q3map2.x86 linux native takes very long and uses 300% cpu load (i have only 2 cpus). So since im developing im using the q3map2.exe from xonotic 0.1.0 with wine - it is ca. 7 times faster, but is responsible for the brush-bug where I can look through the texture.

The bug remains on stair 61 - in the latest release i will have it compiled with
the linux native from xonotic 0.7.0.

The hardest work was to find out, how exactly is an texture bound to an brush.
With angle, scaling and offsets (in the map file) - this was very difficult, but now this work is done.

And i learned e new lesson: never calculate the mean of 2 angles directly Smile

uploaded the map on server ...

if you want to play you first have to delete the old map in your dllcache because the maps both named similar Tongue

Perhaps you should request a re-release with proper name changes, because this will affect your players and they won't know what to do unless they look at this forum thread.

Thanks, we had a lot of fun trying this map.

I experimented very long with this lightning and
i found this is a good contrast to the most
other maps. Furthermore this overlighting this way
makes a better feeling and creates a lot of
additional interesting map-structures.
