I'm in Mint 12, and have just installed the most recent .deb packages from getdeb.
I am living in a halls of residence at Lancaster Uni that requires the use of a proxy server to access the Internet. I was recommended by a friend also having an issue to try launching from the terminal (to take advantage of apt's proxy settings).
However, the keyboard doesn't respond to keyboard input when the application is launched from the terminal, and the proxy download on the server does not work either, so I'm back to square 1.
Any ideas?
