Parkour Awesomeness (Should be in Xonotic)

I know it would be waaaay too much work to do, but it would be cool if you could do parkour stuff in Xonotic. It would require an insane amount of animation work, but I just got the idea from this video.

Nah, it would be way easier just to randomize the animation based on how high you go. Maybe a different selection for jumps from jumppads. Still a lot of work for graphic artists though, and not something I'd want to try to force in the game.

Ultimately it would be up to whomever handles animation. The problem is that xonotic NEEDS more animators atm and I´m not sure how high up the priority list freerunning/parkour animations would be purely on asthetic value. Although on the bright side I think everything that needs animation is a matter of asthetic anyway so it might have just as much merit as other animations wanted in xonotic. Smile
