What type of tournament most interests you?

Put the following gamemode variations in order of your interest for a tournament, where top is most interested and bottom is least interested.

If there are some that you aren't interested in at all, then just take them out of your list.

If you have more ideas for tournament types, add em at the bottom of your post.

HOOK IS A VERY POPULAR GAME MODE EVEN IF THE NORTH AMERICAN PROS LOOK DOWN UPON IT.

Pretty much exactly what PCL said. Well, I'm not that convinced about CTS and Race, but it would definitely be interesting to see, in terms of actually watching the runs and it would not complicated for scheduling, so I'm all for it.

3v3 Capture The Flag (CTF)

I don't know what clan arena is (trying to imagine... failing). I think they all have their merits (as far as I know what they ARE, lol), but definitely the 1v1 duel and small, clan ctf are the really exciting ones, that people will want to spec. I think it might be fun to have like, an olympics/triathlon type competition, where players compete in a variety of game-modes, and the overall winner is given the title. Related to that, there could be a 'shuffle ctf' tournament, where players are scored based on how well they integrate with a series of random teams. Might be interesting.

Duel, 2v2tdm, and 3v3ctf and maybe some ca ;o

In australia, we have already run a season of what we call a 'medley' tourney. It is 3v3 and each match consists of:

-a 3v3 ctf
-a 2v2 tdm
-a 1v1 duel between the people that did NOT play in the 2v2

winner of at least 2 of these games takes the match (best of 3) maps decided by elimination from a community voted pool

It's really fun, the best tourney type i've experienced.

Also agree with DarthSparty, hook is very popular, I think a 2v2 hook CTF ladder/league/tournament, would be a really good, fast and fun concept.

1 vs 1 (Duel) is very interesting.
However, my top pick would be 3 v 3 v 3 KH . it would be just so fun to watch and play. (the adraline rush when you are a key holder, having fast ppl attacking you is soooo sweet )

In Australia we are currently running a Duel Tournament (1st Round of the Double Elimination bracket finishes this sunday). I'm most interested in running another Medley Tournament (as our last team tournament was CTF Season 2).

The dodging mod you speak of, may actually be a sort of default depending on what divVerent decides, I spoke to him about it and he may make it optional for the player to have it either on or off..depends how good it works I guess and what he decides

Not too crazy about TDM. If we're going to do a deathmatch style tourney, it should be CA.

If Clan Arena is the CA we're talking about, I think that would be an epic game mod to have.
