[NEEDS INFO] Menu mouse cursor stuck in invisible box

I did a clean install of windows 10 from windows 7 due to a persistent windows 7 update problem. Now when I try to navigate Xonotic menus the mouse cursor is stuck in an invisible box on screen the prevents me from selecting anything past half the screen vertically and 60% of the screen horizontally. Before I set my resolution to 1080p upon initial setup the mouse cursor scaled the whole screen, but after setting up my res this is the issue. What should I do?

Try 'menu_mouse_absolute 1; hud_cursormode 1' in console. Or maybe the opposite - 'menu_mouse_absolute 0; hud_cursormode 0'
