Just use the newer version(0.8.2): http://dl.xonotic.org/xonotic-0.8.2-mappingsupport.zip

Nope, It says
Texture load failed: "textures/"

My own case as an example:

/media/ssd/Xonotic-0.8.2 this directory is where I have the content of xonotic-0.8.2.zip file

/media/ssd/Xonotic-0.8.2  <= the path Netradiant points to


/media/ssd/Xonotic-0.8.2/data/xonotic-20170401-maps-mapping.pk3 the mapping support file
