Cool game, the old version runs on Linux too.

Would be great to have it as another fully open-source game.

I watched the video of the developer where he explained the game, its mechanics, etc. and it looks really promising. I should have a look at it again... very interesting stuff there and especially new one.

The guy behind the game is also working on an alternative mode that is slower/tactical, but with an interesting area conquering mechanic, see here: http://forum.freegamedev.net/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4554

The old not-yet open-source version got an small update and the guy got some servers running:

So if you wanted to try it first, but found no servers here is your chance.

Funding looks okeish so far, but there is a need for quite a few additional pledges.

$1083 of 1500 at the time of writing this... 6 days left. Lets make this happen!

Also: the engine got a semi finished MacOSX port, so if you are on mac you can also contribute now
