Duel World Championship 2013

There was always the idea to make a tournament with the best players, so I had yet another idea while sleeping: This!
I want to wait with it for 0.7 release (soon and new settings yayay ).

How it works
16 players will be qualified to the big tournament to fight for the Duel crown.
Of course everyone is allowed to play!! But the servers will be in EU.

We will have 4 Qualification Quick Cups (QQC), where the Top 4 players will qualify for the World Championship (WC). Players who are already qualified won’t be allowed to play other QQCs.
There will be an extra Quick Cup for everyone who will not qualify.

Also we will only use Xonotic maps and the players are able to choose the maps for the QQCs.
I want to use 12 different maps for the 4 QQCs, which means that every mappool will look different.
The top voted maps (don’t know how much yet) will be used in the WC!
Poll will run a long time.

Each QQC will be get its own thread and I guess I will make a poll with possible dates (somewhere June/July) for them.
They will work like the usual Quick Cups, but SE/Bo3.

Cry about maps I won't care. There are enough in the poll (I think almost anything).

I thought the title says WORLD championship not EUROPE Championship. Why not running separated servers for American Australian and European players? Then in the finals why not tring to play on servers where both sides have similar ping disatvantage?

I think there is better text font source.... Why not using Xolonium anyway? Text looks like for tetris or very bad car racing game.The background img could use more quality I think, And why '2' is under the rest of text? Logo loks blurry, Im afraind and its not clear. I think you should rethink the composition. Whats the world championship of anyway? Ice hockey? CTF? TDM? Its not written on your poster Im afraid.
