It seems to be fixed now (at least for the default target). Thanks for reporting.

Input seems a bit smoother. There was some sort of microstutter and its now missing, good job.
Arc is cool, secondary is insane, one shot kill and/or switch, will have to experiment more.
When you press 1 and 7 in the player menu input it acts like home and end keys regardless of num lock.
ERMAGERD! HLAC is BACK! Thank you for finally seeing reason. You made my day.

Are you sure that this version of Xonotic works on Macs? This is what I get when I try to run the game:
Application Specific Information:
dyld: launch, loading dependent libraries
Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: @rpath/SDL2.framework/Versions/A/SDL2
Referenced from: /Users/USER/Downloads/*/Xonotic.app/Contents/MacOS/xonotic-osx-sdl-bin
Reason: image not found
But there are still some issues for me:
On Instagib there are no dropped weapons for collect ammo
input is a bit strange on xonotic-linux64-sdl - xonotic-linux64-glx seems to work better
Ok, i just played a bit, and:
Physics are great!
Weapon switch time is great!
Weapons in general are great!
(Except for ARC, i have to get used to it first i guess)
New options are great!
Menu is better!
Definitely interesting. Maybe if there were less enemies (140 srsly) but more durable. And maybe little bosses and elimination and we have left 4 xon. (or Xonvolve)
Or monsters with assault and we have coop campaigns lol.
I had to re-assign all my binds that were previously assigned to numpad, because it seems like you guys changed the numpad key names somewhere along the way. Could the frost's problem above have something to do with this?

In linux with SDL 1.2.15 I get KP_* events when numlock is on, and arrow / page up|dn etc. when numlock is off. With SDL 2.0.3 I get the opposite. Using git revision 506f84ad02b8f6b59c03a8ea07c6d74bbd7b199b (that's from december 29)

Looks like a missing library. I'm on OS X 10.9.5.
Same here, fresh download, just after start. OS X 10.10.1.

If you need more information or some testing, please drop me a note.
Thank you for your great work on this game. :-)
I am getting this same issue. Please advise! I love this game..
Solved
I needed to download SDL2 from the stable http://www.libsdl.org/download-2.0.php#source and copy it to the /Library/Framework folder. Works great now! ;-)
If issues are not properly reported, you can consider them to be invisible to the devs.
Please see kuedan's post above mine for a fix:
