Suggest a day this (or next) week, next Tuesday and Thursday would be ideal for me.
This is indeed a much better idea, I think next week thursday will be cool with me, but I yet have to see about that.
it's 20:30 here atm, I don't know about you, but starting around 7 o'clock in the evening, so 19:00, would be fine for me
In the meantime, I want you to fill in this, choices are seperated with slashes:
Kick Drum: Punchy / Normal / Soft
Bass lead: Hard & Distorted / Normal / Soft
Rythm: Standard (Trance-ish) / Rock-ish / Different (describe)
Rythmic Sound: Realistic / Synthesized
Percussion: None / Some / A lot
Harmony: (Basically strings): Single harmony / Some variations / MUCH variation
Melody: Just one or two melodic instrument / Many melodic instruments
Overall texture of the song: Electronic / Old School / Different (describe)
Rythmic synths (The ones at the intro of the previous track for example.. the ones you thought were cheap): None / Some / A whole bunch!
Provide 3 examples of tracks you like, and think the track should be similar to. You can provide the ones you showed me earlier for example
This will help a lot to make some useful progress instead of something that won't fit.[/b]

Thanks replying Maddin, I'll get started somewhere around this week, so I can prepare the basic body of the song. Then we will mold it exactly the way you want during our IRC chat, sounds good aye?
EDIT: Oh one more important detail, the tempo. Just like the previous one? Or different? If different, give me an exact example of the tempo you'd like, I can adjust my track to it then
Oh and since some have continued this trend of posting screenshots of their DAW, might as well do it! (Me likey! It's fun to see what the end product *looks* like as well )
Fun fact, I think this is the first song where I never quantitized anything that I recorded on the keyboard
Gives the electric piano a nice groovy feel to it!
Also, today I learned that if you upload .wav files to SoundCloud, they sound MASSIVELY better than 320k mp3 files for some reason!

I was suspecting the same thing, thanks for confirming it
I love that piece of music you made btw, because it sounds very simple, but it also has some really neat variations in it, enjoyed it!
nice job dude! I like the vocals, but the bass sounds a bit too plain for my taste, maybe distort it a bit? and adding in some glitchy elements might even further enhance the feeling of the track
