@lee: there is no noticeable drop in performance.

@strahl: texturing is still in it's early stages. I'll find something better.

also, the skybox I have now works PERFECTLY with this map, that screenshot just doesn't show it.

At point 1 the corner looks not that good, because it cuts the texture ino a half. A trim probably would a good solution.
At point 2 the texture looks plain, maybe you also could use a trim there, so the windows have a better border.
At point 3 the sand texture also looks plain. i would suggest to use a patch for more depth and mainly stone and just a bit sand.
I assume at point 4 you just want to add a rail. if thats the case use something with much glass. It fits better to the overall style of the map.
At point 5, you need real stairs and not just ramps.

Actually I prefer ramps for smoother gameplay, but they don't look quite as nice.

whoaaaa, grass gives this game a whole new look, this map looks great so far theShadow! I wonder if any stock maps will contain grassy areas too, however they are mostly Mars themed, so probably it would look weird. But still, mappool could have some light-feeling maps like this. Smile

*wipes mountain dew off of screen* HOLY SHIT! That looks frickin' cool! The color scheme makes the map look VERY true to the original in spite the map clearly not being put together out of stone and wood.

If the whole map is as good looking as this is, we could be expecting a beta soon!

Rad Ished's remake was nice, but is was built for more players and more team-like gameplay. This looks like it will be more like the DM map Soylent was.

Did you make the columns in Blender?
