Obviously because... it is One thing worth noting about that mesh is that I based it off the Gak model, and surprisingly managed to modify many parts properly to turn it into a vixen. Helps that I've spent a lot of time around Blender and seem to have learned my way around it well... hopefully I can make more useful stuff for inclusion in Xonotic sometime.

Thanks. That's because I haven't gotten to adding the color textures yet Once I do the body / fur will be colored in shirt color and the black details in glow.

texturing is a little boring though.

Looks amazing. Can I wonder how do you make hexagons?
|
|
@aa
Menu bar, with brush selected, choose brush:
|

I know that, i just wanted to know how to match them to eachother, as a hexagons vortives cant be positioned on asquare grid.

aa:
That can be solved by adjusting the verticles to the grid: Select the object, choose the grid you want the verticles to adjust to (by pressing 1,2,3,4...,9) and press ctrl + g
Netradiant is limited in this matter, but its amazing what you can do with pentagons and hexagons... Im going to proove it in "Sacred".
Silence: You are bloody right there: Textures are boring, I will try my best to make them more colorfull and stylish.
Im also happy you like what you see, considering its not even 30% of plans inside my head.

Looking great Justin! You should try to set some color accents.
|
|
Again a very good looking concept of yours. I like your design style a lot.

Cityy: This is crazy! I saw this map on the Quake Cup Winter 2012! And I recognized your style! All I had to do was check on your portfolio... and voila! There it is:

Crazy!
PS: If you have time: teach me colors!
PS 2: Rapha won on this map vs someone. can't remember now.
|
|
Wooow!!! That map's got colours!
|
|
Okey, I added some colors (this is blue base):
Im sorry to say that but I will have to let mapping and xonotic go for a 2/3 or even more months from now.
I had plenty of great fun designing for this incredible game, but now real life is a priority and I won't have the time to spend it in front of netradiant so often anymore.
For the record: Modeling and 3D world inspired me so much (and design) that I decided to focus on the current goals: Maths, drawing, 3D modeling, architecture.
I would like to thank to Cityy (for being very helpful and great designer), Majki (for his advices about world of lighting), C.Brutail (for his tips for the beginner), Archer and Chooksta (for great music) Morphed, Sev, Kuniu, and everybody else who inspired me, helped, gave constructive feedback about my maps.
I will be back there to finished unfinished bussines.
Cu people! Have fun!
