There will be Xonotic Duel World Cup during late winter / early spring 2017. Here you can see some information about the previous one (World Cup for 2016 http://forums.xonotic.org/showthread.php?tid=6045 )

..and probably some other 1v1/2v2/4v4 tournaments if we have time. :-)

We will announce via forums and IRC.

You do understand it's just players organizing this right? None of that is official, and nothing prevents you from setting up a tournament yourself.

As to your ping problems, we apologize but the tournaments mostly are hosted on EU servers. What country are you from? If you're from NA, I've had the idea of a NA cup (if NA players and/or EU players are willing enough to participate at all) for a while now.
