[PSA] Lighting is NOT spelled "lightNing"

Hi! Just a quick PSA for you all. First of all, I'm not trying to be snarky or anything, just helpful. I've noticed a lot of you guys and gals spell lighting with an extra N. Lightning with two N's is the electric arc that you see in the sky during storms.

I guess I'll move this thread to WW later!

But .. but .. what if you use lightning for lighting??!

Mr. Bougo: You just saved my life. I realized I was pronouncing it wrong.

Maybe we should hold a light[n]ing orientated mapping contest, to promote spelling light[n]ing being speeled without "n"s?

Or a lightning oriented one to promote the wrong spelling enough to make it the right one

Make a map lightning contest, fail everyone because their contributions have no lightning at all.

So you only go by the looks eh?

I submit my map which is TOTALLY messed up! I just have to add a couple of signs that say "Ligh[n]ting"

My heart weeps.

Spell is an irregular verb.

It's definitely not lightening either, just in case anyone was thinking of calling it that!

I knew I had misspelled a few words, but I thought that nobody will ever look at it.
