To participate just join #eac.cup (IRC Quakenet) at given date and time.

This will be a double cup! So after this one a second cup is following for lower skill level.
You can qualify by loosing the first one. Top 8 from the first cup are not allowed to participate.

So you have to participate in first to play in second!

Either we have time for the lower-skill-level cup on the same day or we will play on the very next day, same time.

It's vicious circle: few multiplayer servers (with players i mean) with usual weapons; more mp servers with minsta >> new ones playing minsta (like me). And yeah, i'm also suck at weapons: playing like total noob and this kills motivation...

When did I say this? I was just pointing out that minsta is getting more attention than vanilla, It's just an opinion. I've never said "minsta players are half as much worth as I." I was never trying to be an ass and I apologize if I came across that way.

I think dzy got a valid point but I agree this is wrong place to discuss it. I also apoligize for my comment, I did not tried to contribute to a flame war(note, I first and foremost encouragrd this competition before making the comment regarding dzy's statement).

Anyway, I see no flamewar here, but clearly this thread is no place for a game mode debate. If you think there is something wrong with a minsta cup (how many of these have we had until this one?), make a new thread for that in the general section.

There will be a bot on IRC that can be used to get info about the match (available maps, next matches, scores, etc.) and it will be used for the map picking.
Once we're done testing it, we'll post some basic usage guide.

If I was not clear enough in my post above, I'll repeat it. This thread is about the cup, not about your feelings on the more general problem of non-default gameplay (whatever that would be). If you want to discuss that, create a new thread for it.
