seems so but atm it is in an early alpha state so linux, mac versions might follow later.

depends on what technology it uses. if it's written in a language that is specific to windows, than a mac/linux port is unlikely.

Looks to be C++ and GPLv3+, so there's a chance. Also, Mac-specific stuff is already in the repository upon a quick glance, but I can't say for sure.

Desura is opensource too, and it's far more developed... plus, Desura is cross platform already. But, nice find -- this is certainly a more simple system anyway.

rumor has it steam is being developed for linux.

but knowing valve, it could be released in 10 years Big Grin
