[SUGGESTION] Weapon names STEP 2 - contributing names

I agree! Perfect name!

After letting the name "Xonotic" stew in my head for a few days, I couldn't stop myself from changing it to "Xonotus," like some sort of... something.

I, being a bit of a fan for taking random sounds and appending words like "cannon", "bomb", "launcher" or whatever else to them, thought of the name "Xonotus cannon" for a weapon like the Crylink or maybe the Electro. They look like they might be firing some sort of strange alien substance, and Xonotus sounds like an alien substance, and HEY, I heard you guys were down with plugging the game name into the weapon names here and there.

Laser - Laser (It's fine the way it is.)
Shotgun - Shotgun (Again, I see no reason to change)
Uzi / Machinegun - Machine Gun (Once again, Nexuiz doesn't own the names)
Mortar / Grenade launcher - Grenade Launcher (Would be appropriate if the projectiles actually had a timed explosion)
Crylink - Cynik (SIE-nik)
Electro - Plasmortar
Hagar - Babylon
Rocket launcher - Rocket Launcher
Nex gun - Xyex (pronounced TSI-ex)
HLAC -
Fireball - F.Lancer (F = fire, Lancer=French verb "to throw.")
Camping rifle - Solomon Rifle

I like this idea. A fire-spewing BFG called Phoenix would fit Xonotic perfectly. Just as Nexuiz had the Nex, Xonotic would have the Phoenix.

Crylink: Please keep it. I love that name too much. (What inspired that name, anyways?)

hagar: van hagar .... rofled . maybe flare gun because of its new secondary in Xonotic . wich is useful . or flak , the military term . it kinda acts like that type of weapon . the anti assualt gun , anti assh*&# gun ha
