Actually I did plan on making it match team colors, but probably not the glow color... i'm not sure, thing is that it could be a bit too confusing...
Theoretically it could be done though.

Either that, or maybe you can add a slider where people can change the color to their own likings in the Player Setup tab, something like the railgun in Q3.

For a first map it seems quite well, don´t bother about design in the beginning. Mastering the techniques is more important when you start mapping.

Looks great Rudi! Awesome PS text too., haha. Only thing I would suggest is to change those Drain textures.

Don't forget to repackage the Drain's texture if you release the map, I think they're map specific!

maddin id right ... it is safe to use all textures except those that are in the "map" texture set ... or textures brought along with maps you downloaded ...
Also ... that map is looking really nice ... especially for a first go ...

One thing I´d like to get some feedback is about the item placement: I thought about removing the Nex, but I´m not sure if the majority is comfortable with that.

I'd trial it on a server if I were you. Get the pros to test it, but I feel that the Nex is very important and it would be a shame to lose it.

Darkzone hasn´t it too and my new map Sunset also hasn´t got any Nex. It plays very well imo but still some Nex-Lovers don´t like these maps... obviously.

Depends on what the pros think, if you intend for your map to be one made for hardcore competitions. I think it's really rather subjective though...
