Hello Smile

But just that you know it, servus actually meens slave. I guess you should rather use salvus, which meens something like hello or greetings Big Grin

Bavarian and Austrian people use "Servus" as a regular term of greeting. Wink

To serve in german "dienen" service .........

Ive read that on quake.net is a inter relay chat....

Is there an radiostation for xonotic?
Or a league like counterstrike e sports with lan sessions?

Would be cool... Iam new to this game ofcause iam not the one who call him self the ultimate gamer but a nice LAN session would give this... Nice Flavor of being part of some big thing....Big Grin

Hoi ho testabug.

The closest thing to a league is our leaderboard on stats.xonotic.org. Sinec there are no real clanwars going on, it's the only chance to compete with others.
Sometimes, rly unregular there are quickcups going on, but i'd suggest you look every now and then here.

And the last point: The Xonotic IRC Channel is #xonotic (the german channel is #xonotic.de) on irc.quakenet.org

Did I say "Welcome"?

Well, welcome =)

Yes. Yes, it is.

We really need to have some sort of color palette in this forum software instead of letting users pick RGB... I guess I'll start encouraging users to use bold or italics instead of fancy colors.

EDIT: No offense, of course.

Maybe the forum engine could add a little shadow to text that is too bright to be readable.

That would be a job for individual theme's css. But that's not going to solve any problem, shadows hardly improve visibility.

No #BADBAD color appreciated ?

#BAD000 better? or #000BAD? ;-)

Besides, I like the way you can choose colors by using hexcodes.

Pure red is fine on both themes. So is pure green. No idea about other colors. I don't like the way you can choose colors by hexcodes because it's annoying for people who don't use the same theme as you do. I'd much rather have a palette of 16 or so colors that can be modified through CSS to suit each theme while still being the right hue and relative lightness.
