Ah ok. Well your post above "Hmm. That's GtkRadiant 1.6.3 and it basically does not support Xonotic..." sounded like you're commenting your own post of the gothic wall as if it was posted by someone else - which confused me :o) I don't have anything against gothic walls or medieval architecture, carry on :o)

I made quite a few brick, stone and marble textures and now wondering how to make them bumpy, not flat.
EDIT:If there is "Xonotic style" I will happily add some alien details to my gothic ruins (metal ramps, reactors, teleports, plasma core, exomorphed + exx + electricy panels) :]
I sure hope that one way or another, this can become an official Xonotic map. Haven't played it (not sure if it's posted) but the theme would be great.

Copying Justins' style he made for my map, will give him creds in .mapinfo file ofc!

<bluez> halogene, you make awesome music, but you have no clue about ctf.
<Halogene> I didn't know mappers include some mysterious waypoints so members of the BOT clan can navigate a map?

Hmm, those alpha transparent stairs are probably a bit too thin and will look at anything but 4k resolutions pretty much like a half transparent pixel mess.
Otherwise quite nice.

My first self-made texture ever:

Look pretty slick, man! Reminds me of what the texture of a conex box of the future might look like, pretty sweet! Or a 2001-ish corridor. Nice work! Keep it up!

nice work everyone. I especially dig the awesome detailwork on Cortez's screenshot, also the fact that the two levels are colored differently, so it gives some contrast. GJ!

it actually lacks of detail, because the best is yet to come. =)

Did some progress on my new texture set:
The ice texture in the first screenshot is a modified texture from Nobiax.

Holy frickin' sexy! That is looking HOT!!
|

Nice, cortez! Also I like the bump structures of that texture, Maddin. The "ice" one looks more like polished and randomly grinded metal to me, though (and I like that, too).

@Cortez - that kicks ass! ;-)
