Good job, Samual, Nowego4! Weapon model looks good but If I were you I wouldn't go into so much details and rather focused on the overall weapon 'layout'. You are a very skilled modeller, did you know it?

Lately I have been working on mapping in more advanced software. I still can't model fast but I'm getting hooked on modeling.

Would someone be willing to make a quick tutorial or guide on how to import a model into xon?

I know about most of the things when it comes to making the model texturing, and even a tiny bit of animating (pretty bad at it though...) but have absolutely no idea how to import into the game.

If someone had the time to post something about that, I would really appreciate it, and I'm sure some other would too Smile

Very nice! That would be a fantastic weapon model. Though if it's only a mockup, it will need someone to make a real 3D model of it.

It's a model I made in Blender, I just haven't imported it into the game.

Very nice changes there! The menu looks a lot cleaner and better arranged now.

Only critique is that a few options in Game -> View feel too useless to put in the menu ("Smooth the view *", "View waving while idle", "Release zoom when *"). But if anyone really wants these there, I can't complain.

Nice mockup in terms of quality, good job!

As for the style, I don't think this would fit into Xonotic as is. It look more steampunk style than the clean futuristic style most guns is currently, and it would feel quite inconsistent.

Nice, Cortez. Looking good! Maddin: About 'still working on a map" : Will you recreate Sunset some time? Or you are waiting for offical competition or other motivation to make it worth your time? Wink Cause Im quite curious what style and gameplay will it bring to the Xonotic. I am sure its gonna be unique.

Sunset´s priority is low at the moment. I have Warfare_v4 in the pipeline (botwaypoints will get a huge fix on that map, so that is the only thing left I have to solve at the moment), Huq (duel map) will be the next map I´ll focus on plus some work on my texture set from time to time.

The next month will be very tough for me as I sit my exams. After that I have plenty of time. Maybe, just maybe, I do some super fast visual styling for Sunset so that it looks appealing. Wink
